I did a restart and checked the running version. and installed it and set it as running (you can have different versions installed on the system after updates).
Then i removed the IMEI-device and rebooted. I went back to the 1909 clone and did an inplace-repair install with 1909. In the clean install, the IMEI has version 1815. So, the problem is software related because i did not alter anything on the hardware (like Bios upgrade, etc). To know where the problem is (hardware or software), I installed a clean Wind32bit.Īfter install, i tryed to upgrade to latest version (today version 21h1) and this worked.
Wpprecorder.sys is accociated with 'Intel Management Engine Interface' (IMEI after this). I made a clone and worked with it, to find a solution. I removed the original disk to keep the original system untouched. Used hardware: 2 extra drives for cloning and installation system. It was build with windows 10 versien 1909 32 bit and has specific software that only runs on 32bit.įinaly, i managed to update to latest version via this way: I also had the blue screen of death on a computer of a customer of mine.
